It has been a few months since we have done a blog post. A place over in Silvis has caught my eye and no it's not Franks Pizza either. Although Franks is the nee plus ultra of Quad City style pizza and I'll fight ya about it too.
I'm not sure if I have ever said we don't do franchise joints updates. Sure we will sometimes get a Dominos or Caseys. But we like to support our local joints.
But today we visited a place that used to have a few Quad City locations. Now it has only one left.
So this is the last Godfathers in the QC area.It is over by John Deere Rd And Avenue Of The Saints.
It's not a long way from Eldridge..

ReplyDeleteWe have been doing this blog for quite a few years. We give most places the benefit of doubt. We can tell if a place is going to be good or not. We understand staffing issues nowdays too. We always concentrate on the pizza. Sometimes a bathroom might not be cleaned enough or a table might not get wiped quickly. We get that. Taste and quality are what we are looking for. So thanks for the reply. You never know who your customers might be!
